Common Applications

High-Volume Two-Component Epoxy Dispensing for Demanding Construction Applications

The AST RMP 824-C is a high-volume, two-component epoxy metering and dispensing system designed for demanding construction applications. Built for the same materials and applications as the AST RMP 624-C, it features larger 12-gallon material tanks, an 8-inch air cylinder and output up to 1 gallon per minute for faster dispensing on high-volume jobs. AST positive-displacement RMP pumps provide accurate, repeatable metering with standard fixed ratios from 1:1 to 4:1, making the system well suited for applications such as dowel bar placement and traffic marker installation while handling high-viscosity epoxy materials.

Features & Benefits of the AST RMP 824-C

  • High-Volume Output: Dispenses up to 1 gallon per minute for faster material application on high-volume jobs.
  • 12-Gallon Material Tanks: Larger tank capacity allows for longer dispensing runs with fewer material refills.
  • 8-Inch Air Cylinder: Larger pneumatic drive provides the force needed for higher-volume dispensing.
  • Accurate, Repeatable Metering: Positive-displacement RMP rod pumps maintain consistent material ratios and shot-to-shot accuracy.
  • Multiple Mix Ratios: Supports standard fixed ratios from 1:1 to 4:1, with other ratios available.
  • High-Viscosity Material Handling: Handles epoxies and other materials with viscosities up to 500,000 cps.
  • Adjustable Dispensing: Metered shot size can be adjusted from 0–100% of the full stroke for different application requirements.
  • AASHTO M237 (Type IV): Meets requirements for applicable two-component epoxy dispensing applications.
